Hello

Thanks for looking me up. I'm an award-winning tv producer/director with a back-catalogue of over thirty films; amazing personal stories, great moments in history, epic journeys, life or death battles.

On the right, a few (mute) pictures from my 15 years with BBC Factual, later BBC Studios. I made a huge range of films, from popular-appeal shows, through to heavyweight histories.

I made four of the nine eps of the twice recommissioned 'Scotland from the Sky', a combination of spectacular aerial adventures with historical detective stories. Also, 'The Rise and Fall of Timex', a sparky, archive led film on the seismic 1993 strike that dominated UK headlines.

I made single docs on the Tudors, the Stuarts, the story of the machine gun, the naval battles of WW1 and the BBC4 centenary biopic of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

More recently, I spent two and a half years with OR Media. I worked on four one-hour films on the politics of The Middle East.

I conducted high level interviews with politicians, diplomats, academics and writers. Also real life colour sequenceswith tribal leaders, business people, sports stars and the military.

We shot in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Kosovo, Turkey, the UK and the USA.

I speak fluent French (I'm a former resident), survival Spanish and I'm learning Arabic.

I'm also a CAA licensed drone operator, I have a US I-Visa and I'm hostile environments trained.
